Here are some of the places in Luzon where you can take a quick drive for a day trip or a long drive for the weekend.
Batangas is one of the favorite places to go to during the weekends because it is not only easily accessible, it is also uniquely beautiful. The waves are calm, and the shores are long, this is perfect for families and groups who would like to enjoy the sunset or sunrise at the beach.
There are also plenty of dive shops in Batangas, and you could even take a daytrip if you would like the comfort of your own home at the end of the day.

High up north and quite farther than most in the list, it might be a stretch if you will try to get away to Ilocos for the weekend. But if you would like to finally take that road trip with your family or friends, then this is a wonderful place to go to. Not only are the beaches beautiful, but the history as well. There are plenty of well-preserved buildings and roads, and if you are into that sort of thing, this can become a field trip too!
